Achats Service was created in 1988 in order to answer a growing need for outsourcing of “C-class purchases”.
The company started its activity with two agencies in France (Buc-78 and Sophia Antipolis-06) then benefit from the know-how of an international group.
At that time, the need to be close to one’s client was of importance and the network counted up to 7 branches.
The apparition of the ERP and internet brought a drastic change in the way of working and as a consequence in the organisation in place.
In 2006, Achats Service bought and integrated in its network Encotech (Bordeaux – Le Haillan – 33), a company specialising in technical product purchases.
Nowadays, Achats Service is centred around 4 branches in France.
On the other hand, 2008 is a benchmark in the development of Achats Service with a change in shareholders which strengthens the customer service development dynamic and makes its activities international:
September 2008: set up of an activity in Germany thanks to GPS subsidiary (Global Procurement Solutions) in Stuttgart.
February 2009: set up of an activity in China thanks to the buy-out of Nihao company in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
April 2011 : Achats Service is consolidating its position in Europe with the acquisition of the German Einkaufsagentur Reinhard Korn.
